Kindergarten Round-Up for students attending kindergarten during the 2012-2013 school year will take place on Thursday, Feb. 9th from 6-7:30pm. Students must be five on or before Sept. 15th of the school year they will be attending kinder-garten. The Catholic Messenger is our diocesan newspaper which keeps us current on world events from a Catholic perspective as well as national, local and diocesan news. The parish is assessed the $28 fee for each family. Please pay the subscription fee and keep informed! Thank you. Payments can also be made through WeShare.

NOW is an excellent time to join our choir as we begin to prepare for the Spring semester. The Choir rehearses on Tuesday evenings, 6:30-8pm. We primarily sing at the 10am Mass on Sundays, but we will sing for at least one 4:30pm Mass on Saturday each month. Please contact the director, Trevor Loes, if you’re interested in joining. Mothers of Young Children (MOYC) members: join friends and make new ones at the February Kids’ Activity, Saturday, Feb. 11th from 10-11:30am at St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Kids will decorate Valentine cookies and make a simple craft. MOYC also will collect diapers (larger sizes and pull-ups), diaper wipes and miscellaneous personal hygiene items (i.e. toothpaste, soap, etc.) for its philanthropic charity, the Christian Culture Community at the event. Make plans to attend our annual Youth Group Fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 19th in the Social Hall. Enjoy pancakes, sausage, and King’s Cake along with coffee & milk after each Mass. Proceeds help fund parish youth activities throughout the year. More details to follow!

Parents must be registered and active members of the parish. Parents are required to attend one instructional session, ideally before the child is born. Call the parish office to register for the next class on Mar. 10th @ 3:30pm.
